Request a Repeat Prescription

Repeat prescription take two working days to process so please remember this when you are organising your medication.

If you find that you are running out of your medication before you are able to get your next prescription, your pharmacy will give you an emergency supply until you get your prescription.

Please not that you may be requested to see the doctor for a medication review before a prescription is renewed.

Getting to the surgery

By DART
Merrion Medical is located a short distance from Sydney Parade Train station. Once you exit the station turn to your left and continue straight up Sydney Parade Avenue. You will then reach a main road, at this point you turn left onto Merrion Road. Continue up the road about 300m and Merrion Medical will be on your left.

From North of the City
Head North on O’Connell Street Upper / N1 toward Cathal Brugha Street. Turn left at N1/Parnell Square. Slight left at Parnell Street, turn left at Capel Street, and then turn left at Lower Ormond Quay/N1/N4. Continue to follow N1/N4. Turn right at N11. Turn left at Grafton St/N11. Continue to follow N11
Turn right at Clare St/R118. Continue to follow R118. You will pass St. Vincent's University Hospital on your right hand side. The practice is located on the left hand side after the Church.

From South of the City
Drive down the N11 southbound until you reach the top of Booterstown Avenue. Turn right onto Booterstown Avenue. At the end of the road, turn left onto the Rock Road. Continue on until you pass the level crossing on your right hand side. You will reach a row of shops on the right hand side. The practice is located here.
