Doctors
Dr Enda Ryan
Dr. Enda Ryan graduated from Trinity College, Dublin in 1997 and interned in St. James’s Hospital and Wexford General. Following internship, he spent several years training in internal medicine and cardiology, mostly in St. Vincent’s and the Heart Failure Unit in St. Michael’s Hospital, including 2 years doing research. He then changed over to general practice, completing rotations in psychiatry and paediatrics before going to the UK to complete a GP registrar training year.
On his return to Ireland in 2006, he started working at Merrion Medical. He is a member of both the Royal College of Physician’s of Ireland and the Royal College of General Practitioners. He has a specialist diploma in child health. He is the author or co-author of several abstracts and publications in the field of heart failure.
Dr Sarah Carty
Dr. Sarah Carty graduated from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) in 1999. She completed her General Practice training in Edinburgh in 2002. She has specialist diplomas in Child Health, Medicine for the Elderly and Palliative Care. Her special interests include Medical Education and she works two days a week as a lecturer in the General Practice department in RCSI. Her hobbies include keeping fit, travelling, foreign languages and scuba-diving.
Practice Nurse
Bairbre
Bairbre trained as a general nurse in the UK, qualifying with a higher diploma in 1999. She worked in the Mater hospital for eight years and then went on to work as a community nurse for a year and a half. Bairbre joined the practice in October 2008.
